THE FOOD

Our chefs reconstruct Fine Italian recipes to the Piadina and Sandwich level. We pay tribute to slow cooking, made from scratch and the use of local ingredients. We make the most refined products affordable and we will always be about the food.

LA PIADINA

The Italian Piadina is a staple of Italian Street Food in Italy, a flatbread originating from the Emilia-Romagna region (namely Forli-Cesena, Ravenna, and Rimini). For centuries it has been made from simple, fresh, wholesome ingredients. The dough consists of 100% artisan durum wheat flour, cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil, Mediterranean Sea salt, and spring water. The soft dough is gently kneaded and carefully baked to perfection right in front of you then generously filled with fresh, local, authentic Italian ingredients.

The Via Cibo Piadina is handmade right in front of you and then made to order by adding our selection of wholesome ingredients. The choices include an abundant range of freshly grilled chicken, grilled meats, Italian sausage, or roasted vegetables.

The result is an authentic Italian taste experience that is unique and undeniably delicious.

Came to Ottawa area on a road trip. Wanted to have some Italian, so I visited Via Cibo. You can really taste the high-quality ingredients in every bite here. The pasta's packed with flavor, and don't even get me started on the pizza – easily some of the best around. Plus, the service is quick, no hanging around waiting. For anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine, this place is a hit.

Had a chance to try the pasta here, and it was seriously good. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. The staff makes you feel welcome right from the moment you walk in, always smiling and ready to help. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're craving Italian.
